4/15/2024 - Congratulations Sheriff Gary Boggess on being chosen as the 2024 Chickasha Chamber of Commerce Public Servant of the Year.
4/15/2024 - Dispatcher appreciation week is celebrated annually in the United States to recognize the invaluable work of 9-1-1 dispatchers nationwide. This celebration started in 1981 at the Contra Costa Sheriff’s Office in California and is now recognized across the whole United States. Last year the Grady County Dispatch Center received a total of 38,107 9-1-1 calls, logged 54,302 Law Enforcement Calls for Service, and logged 8,372 Fire and EMC calls for service. These are only a few of the many responsibilities that our dispatchers do on a daily basis to serve the citizens and visitors of Grady County. The Grady County Dispatch Center is responsible for all Grady County Sheriff's Office calls, All County Fire and EMS calls and to assist with calls inside the City Limits of Chickasha when requested. Grady County Dispatch Center is the heart of our daily operation. A dispatcher job is a very stressful position because, Our Citizens lives depend on them and so does Our Deputies, Fire Fighters and EMS personal. I would like to say, "Thank You" to each one of them for their Dedication, Professionalism and Sacrifice they give every day. Sheriff Gary Boggess
