On October 9, 2025, Grady County Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the Chickasha area of Grady County. This traffic stop was the result of an ongoing investigation involving the manufacturing and distribution of methamphetamine. This investigation was a combined effort of the Grady County Sheriff’s Office and District 6 Task Force.
The driver of the vehicle was identified as Gary Wayne Riddle of Chickasha. A probable cause search of the vehicle was conducted and the following items were located by Deputies; Approximately 28 grams of methamphetamine, 63 grams of marijuana, 247 grams of psilocybin, and 10 Oxycontin tablets.
While interviewing Gary Wayne Riddle, he took responsibility for the items in the vehicle, and stated that he was also in possession of firearms. Due to previous interactions, local law-enforcement had knowledge of Riddle being a convicted felon, and is prohibited from having any firearms.
Grady County Deputies and a member from District 6 Task force went to the location were Riddle said he had hid the firearms and located a total of 13 firearms.
Gary Wayne Riddle was arrested of booked into the Grady County Jail on multiple charges which include possession of firearms by a convicted felon, and the possession and manufacturing of methamphetamine.
All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. The arrest records or information published or reported by Grady County Sheriff’s Office are not an indication of guilt of any suspect.
